Do you remember when the first mobile call was made in India?

The mobile call in India was started on July 31, 1995. The first call was from late Joyti Basu, the then chief minister of West Bengal to the then Union telecom minister Mr. Sukh Ram. Hence first mobile call using handheld mobile phone was in between Writer's Building (Kolkata) and Sanchar Bhavan (New Delhi). The call was completed on Modi Telstra's Mobile Net Service; which was a joint venture of India's Modi Group and Australian Telecom Gaint Telstra. The service was primarily associated only in four metro cities.
